Most beautiful tropical islands

Seychelles is an archipelago about 1,600 kilometres east of the African coast. It lies in the Indian Ocean,
halfway between Africa and Asia, where you will find this paradise.

The Republic of Seychelles is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful tropical island destinations in the world.
The 115 islands that make up the archipelago stretch across 1.3 million square kilometres of ocean northeast of Madagascar. If you only count the land area, Seychelles is about the same size as Andorra, with around 455 km². Its location near the Equator and outside the main cyclone belt makes it an ideal destination for holidays all year round.

About half of the islands are granitic, with narrow coastal plains and hills in the centre, some rising to 900 metres.
The other islands are of coral origin and are primarily uninhabited.

Discover Seychelles

Like any archipelago, the Seychelles are best discovered by the sea. While the three main islands — Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue — already offer many activities, a catamaran cruise in the Seychelles allows you to explore the hidden jewels of the archipelago: secluded islands, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. Discovering the Seychelles by sea guarantees a truly unforgettable experience.

With around 100,000 inhabitants, the Seychelles are sparsely populated but incredibly welcoming. The country has three official languages: Creole, English, and French, making communication easy for visitors from around the world.

What to eat in the Seychelles?

During your holiday in Seychelles, we highly recommend discovering the rich local gastronomy.

Thanks to its location, Seychellois cuisine revolves largely around fresh fish, often caught the same day. It is commonly
grilled or prepared in sauce and served with rice, a staple of many traditional meals.

Because of its cultural mix, the cuisine is influenced by French, Chinese, and African traditions. Many dishes
are flavoured with spices, giving Seychellois food its unique and delicious taste.

You can also try octopus (called “zourit” in Creole), seafood, sweet potatoes, bananas, and many tropical fruits.
These dishes can be enjoyed on board our catamaran, in restaurants during your stopovers, or in the many
small take-away restaurants found across the islands.
